The Beltola bi-weekly market is a bustling and traditional market held on Thursdays and Sundays. It's known for its wide variety of fresh, local, and indigenous products from various communities in and around Guwahati and Meghalaya. Many reviews highlight its historical and cultural significance, with vendors and customers engaging in friendly conversations. However, some sources point out issues like traffic congestion and a lack of basic amenities for vendors, such as toilets and drinking water.

Nice but crowded way too much and not everything that's cheap are of good quality...one have to very careful while buying fruits specially... discipline is needed..and hygiene should be maintained with proper face mask . Although must appreciate the cheap prices.. as for middle or lower classes of people, high prices of food items is a big issue.. so must appreciate the cheap prices of vegetables and fruits.
