ASTC Airport Service

Highly appreciate the effort of ASTC team. I took ticket bit early for the 12 Oclock ride to airport they, wrote down my number and called me to confirmed that I have bored on bus or not

I took a 12 noon bus to Airport, and I took a Rs. 100 ticket from the counter at ASTC, although it wasn't required as the bus conductor inside also has the Ticketing machine. Bus was decent and AC was working. It took approximately 1 hour, despite rain conditions and minor traffic jams here and there. It goes till the airport, picks up passengers at few major stops and you may even get down during the journey at one of the stops. All in all, a good service which need to be maintained.

Ticket are available readily from the counter booking is not required present it's Rs 100 per person AC bus could be more neat and clean ,AC was quite effective and journey to airport was comfortable .Space to keep luggage also.

Bus time

Worst service. No respect of time.on Airport they will make you wait for hours. And take money before bus even start so that you cannot step out as well. Worst n worst service even seen. Person who has lot of time to waste and unsuccessful person can take this bus

Cheapest option to get to the airport in Guwahati. The bus leaves from main ASTC bus stand at Paltan Bazar, which is adjacent to the Guwahati Railway Station. It was Rs. 130 earlier. But now it is merely Rs. 90. And it's a large Volvo city bus. No hassles. It takes about 45 mins to 1 hour during peak hours to reach the airport from the origin. Nowadays, they even pick up passengers during during bandhs.

I tried for several times to contact for bus timings from airport to partan bazar in a crisis, no one responded.
