I had the Rice and Chicken Combo priced at ₹160, and it was definitely worth it. The chicken curry had a homely taste, mildly spiced and perfect even for kids. Overall, a satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

Souka Restaurant offers a great mix of Assamese and North Indian dishes in a cozy setting. The Pork and Local Chicken Thalis are delicious, and the service is warm and attentive. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. A few things could be better—like restroom cleanliness and occasional inconsistencies in fish preparation—but overall, it’s a solid spot for a tasty, satisfying meal in Guwahati. Would definitely recommend!

Souka Restaurant is a hidden gem in Guwahati! Their pork rice is tender, smoky, and full of flavor — true comfort food done right. No-frills ambience, quick service, and great prices make it a go-to spot for locals. Don’t miss the bamboo shoot or chili chutney on the side — they elevate the whole meal!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Souka Restaurant, Beltola. The place serves good, warm food that gives a home like feel, which is perfect for anyone missing simple, comforting meals. The thali we had was well-balanced from the perfectly cooked rice and delicious dal to the flavorful sabji and crispy papad. Each item tasted fresh and satisfying. The service was quick and efficient, which made the whole experience even better, especially if you’re in a hurry or just hungry! However, one area that could use some improvement is the washroom a bit of attention there would complete the otherwise pleasant experience. Overall, a nice spot for a hearty, homely meal in Beltola. Definitely worth a visit!

You can visit for a decent Assamese meal. Price is okay and food quality is good. Yes, parking may be an issue, but should find it within 100 metres, if not peak hours.

The atmosphere is good. The food was tasty. If you want to have a quick lunch or brunch. This is good option for your budget. Slight parking problem for cars. Good go-to food restaurant. 👍

Had fish thali there. The fish was not cleaned properly, it has lots of outer layered skin. They don't serve drinking water with food, only option is you have to purchase packaged drinking water separately.
